Bricelet is a thin, crisp waffle, a specialty of the Savoy region, baked in a traditionally patterned "bricelet iron".

The recipe dates back to 1552. It is said to be linked to the making of hosts, and that certain greedy monks wanted to improve the recipe in order to bring the faithful back to mass.

In our mountains, bricelet is eaten at any time of day and is a precious moment to share.
